This page explains how users of WordPulse: Live Word Battles (developed by Coutts Consulting, LLC) can request deletion of their account and associated data.
To request deletion of your account and data, follow these steps:
Note: Account deletion cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your game history, statistics, and progress. In any games you shared with other players, you will appear to them as "Deleted user".
When you request account deletion, the following data is deleted from our active database:
We delete the personal data associated with your account from our active database. However, some information may persist for a limited period after deletion, including:
We do not control how long our third-party analytics and crash-reporting providers retain their data.
When you delete your account, your account and the personal data associated with it are removed from our active database, and your login is revoked. Backups, logs, and data held by our analytics and crash-reporting providers may persist for a limited period before they expire or are overwritten.
The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting your account directly from the WordPulse app is the recommended way to delete your account:
Upon confirmation, your account and the personal data associated with it are deleted from our active database, and your login is revoked. In any games you shared with other players, your name is replaced and you appear to them as "Deleted user". Some information may persist for a limited period in backups, logs, and analytics and crash-reporting services. This cannot be undone.
