Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address, username, and optional profile photo

Game Data: Gameplay moves, scores, statistics, and preferences

Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, and device identifiers for push notifications

Usage Information: Session duration, feature usage, and crash reports

Camera and Photo Access

We request camera and photo library access only when you choose to upload a profile photo. This is completely optional. We never access your camera or photos without your explicit permission, and we never share your profile images with any third parties, advertisers, or external services.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the game service
• Enable multiplayer features
• Send push notifications (if enabled)
• Improve game performance and user experience
• Prevent cheating and ensure fair play

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data sharing is limited to:

• Other Players: Your username and game statistics are visible to opponents during gameplay
• Service Providers: Supabase (hosting/database) and Firebase (push notifications) process data on our behalf
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law

Note: Profile photos are never shared with third parties or other players.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• Camera (optional): Take profile photos
• Photo Library (optional): Choose profile photos
• Storage (required): Local data caching
• Internet (required): Connect to game servers
• Notifications (optional): Receive game updates
• Vibration (optional): Haptic feedback during gameplay

You can manage all permissions in your device settings.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption for data transmission and storage. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, all of your personal data is immediately and permanently deleted. No data is retained for any purpose.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Revoke permissions at any time
• Opt-out of push notifications
• Export your game data

Data Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data:

• Use the account deletion feature in the app settings, or
• Contact us at app-support@coutts-consulting.com

When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently deleted immediately, including:

• Account information (email, username, password)
• Profile photos and display name
• Game history, moves, scores, and statistics
• Device information and push notification tokens
• All personal data and preferences

No data is retained after account deletion. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. For more details, see our Data Deletion Policy.

Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
